Tuesday, 28 October 2014. Samsung Galaxy S5 keeps disconnecting from WiFi. My Samsung Galaxy S5 couldnt maintain a stable connection to my home WiFi. It was a brand new phone, and Id had the problem since I got it home. The WiFi would disconnect every minute or two, even though the signal strength was Strong phone and router in the same room, just feet apart! I tried switching the connection from DHCP to a static IP address. I tried a different router. None of these worked. Select WiFi from the menu.
